Over the course of four days, “Morphologies of Becoming” unfolds as a lively, evolving dialogue between artists Daniel Hill and Philipp Hoelzgen. The exhibition blurs the boundaries between photography, performance, and sculpture, becoming a space of encounter — between bodies and materials, image and object, human and superhuman.
Each day, the artists stage a continuous "performance" that gradually shapes the space through gestures, interventions, and interactions with the photographic material. During these "Open Studio" days, visitors are not merely spectators, but active participants in the unfolding process — they are mirrored, refracted, and incorporated into the changing sculptural environment.
The work explores a terrain of fragmentation and reassembly in which identities shift, merge, and dissolve. Through confusing spatial relationships and unexpected sensory triggers, the exhibition invites reflection on the unstable nature of perception and the possibilities of a dynamic, fluid future.
On the final day, the resulting sculptural forms — charged with traces of performance, participation, dialogue and transformation — are unveiled as a collective composition. Not an ending, but a convergence of processes is made visible.
