Body of Mere Being
Since 2021
An ongoing artistic research project examining the relationship between the body, architecture, and spatial order. Through photography, moving image, performance, and installation, the project explores how bodies are measured, positioned, contained, and made legible through architectural systems, while testing ways of inhabiting and disrupting those structures.
Cruising as Method
Since 2025
As an artsitic research method, cruising approaches movement through public space as a form of embodied research. Borrowing from the gestures, attention, and spatial practices of cruising, the project explores how bodies read their surroundings, respond to other bodies, and produce temporary relationships with places that are often overlooked, regulated, or passed through.
Muscle Works
Since 2024
This project looks at the performance of masculinity through the visual language and rituals of physical culture. Drawing on bodybuilding, exercise culture, posing, self-imaging, and repetition, the project uses photography, moving image, performance, and installation to explore how masculine bodies are trained, displayed, measured, desired, and made legible.
Intimation
2019-2023
Intimation considers self-portraiture as an act of construction rather than revelation. Through staged photographic performances, gestures, poses, and acts of concealment or exposure, the work explores the shifting roles of performer and viewer, and how gender, sexuality, emotion, and self-image are negotiated in front of the camera.
