Visual Artist • Photographer • Curator • Reseacher
My artistic and curatorial practice centers around an exploration of identity—particularly gender and sexuality—as well as interpersonal connectivity and spatial perception through photography, moving images, audio, and installation work. Drawing from my experience as a queer person, my work is motivated by an existential need to understand and express myself and to connect with others from a queer-feminist position.
My intention is to create work that facilitates intimacy and encourages empathy, understanding, and critical conversations about queer identity and expression in a post-heteronormative society. As I pursue these aims, I continually explore what it means to live authentically and how visual representation plays a powerful role in that process.
My current artistic research looks at queer identity and the power dynamics between public spaces and queer corporeality, very often with my own body. I explore this theme through not only my own visual art research and practice, but also performance lectures and curation.
Available for professional and commission work as well as artistic collaborations in digital or analog photography and other media.

Biography
I have had the pleasure to exhibit in various galleries and off spaces in Vienna and abroad, including MuseumsQuartier Wien, Austrian Cultural Forum Berlin, Stadtgalerie Klagenfurt, Fotogalerie Wien, Ostlicht Galerie, and Galerie 5020 Salzburg. My works have also been featured as part of art and photography festivals, including Vienna Art Week, Luxemburg Art Week, Foto Wien, Rotlicht Festival, Off Grid Festival, and European Month of Photography Berlin. Individual works from the project Queer as a Daffodil are part of the Collection of the City of Vienna (Wien Museum Sammlung).
As a curator, I have organized exhibitions and events which highlight queer identities and artistic positions in insitutions, galleries and offspaces, including Landesmuseum Kärnten, Museums-Quartier Wien, Kunstverein Kombinage, MASC Foundation, and Minuszwei.
Additionally, in a private capacity, I have held workshops and discussions on photography, including self-portraiture from a queer-feminist perspective, as well as an object/art documentation workshop for the University of Applied Art Vienna.
I’m a member of the Austrian Association of Women Artist (VBKÖ), Künstlerhaus Vereinigung, Queer Museum Vienna, IG bildende Kunst, and Bildrecht. I also have close cooperations with Künstlerhaus Klagenfurt and Community Queerinthia.
In 2024, I was the receipient of the Artist-in-Residence Grant for Photography and Media Art in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, awarded by Land Kärnten Kultur (Austria).
Born in the U.S., I have lived and worked in Vienna since 2012. Self-taught in digital and film photography, I enhanced that knowledge with a diploma from the Friedl Kubelka School for Artistic Photography and a course with Anna Daučíková at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg. I also hold an MSc in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
